Film Review: ‘Rough Night’ is More Than Just a Diamond in the Rough
Submitted by JonHC on June 17, 2017 - 3:26amCHICAGO - The idiotic notion in Hollywood (and in the basements of fanboy mothers everywhere) that women can’t be funny is a joke in itself. Blu-ray Review: Recent TV Releases Include ‘True Detective,’ ‘Masters of Sex’
Submitted by BrianTT on June 22, 2014 - 2:42pmCHICAGO – “Game of Thrones” is over and you’ve already binged “Orange is the New Black,” what are you supposed to do now? There are a few interesting new programs this season – FX’s “Tyrant” & “The Strain,” HBO’s “The Leftovers,” CBS’s “Extant,” and a few more – but it’s also a great time to catch up what you may have missed with new Blu-ray and DVD releases. There are five TV-to-Blu-ray releases this month that might warrant a look.

Submitted by BrianTT on May 29, 2012 - 9:57amCHICAGO – “Workaholics” has seriously grown on me. Oh, it’s still amazingly stupid TV but I have to admit that I was surpised at how much I welcomed the return of three man-children who Beavis and Butthead would probably fire. Only “Workaholics” could start their third season with an episode called “The Business Trip” and make it about a bad acid “trip.” Hallucinate with “Workaholics” and start your Summer right.
TV Review: Comedy Central’s ‘Workaholics’ Will Give Viewers a Serious Hangover
Submitted by BrianTT on April 6, 2011 - 3:23pmCHICAGO – You know those slacker frat boys who barely make it to class in the morning and aren’t just hungover but still drunk when the lecture starts? Do you think they just turn that off when they enter the work world?
