CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Dan Baker on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on August 27th, 2020, reviewing the new film “The Personal History of David Copperfield,” now in select theaters.

This is a reverential adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens novel, about the adventures of David Copperfield (Dev Patel) on his road to becoming a writer. Features an all star and multi-racial cast including Tilda Swinton, Hugh Laurie, Peter Capaldi, Rosalind Eleazar. It is directed and co-written by Armando Iannucci, the creator of VEEP and director of THE DEATH OF STALIN.
