CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on The Eddie Volkman Show on WSSR-FM (Star 96.7 Joliet, Illinois) on January 15th, 2021, reviewing the new series from Disney+ and Marvel Studios, “WandaVision,” kicking off Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This nine part miniseries considers a couple of background heroes that were part of the Marvel Comic Avengers in that film series, and who also were a romantically linked couple … Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) – AKA the Scarlet Witch – and Vision (Paul Bettany), an android created by Tony “Iron Man” Stark. In this premise, Wanda seems trapped in a series of sitcom situations mirroring old shows like “I Love Lucy,” “Bewitched” and “The Brady Bunch,” where in each of them she and Vision are the lead couple. Through it all, there is a strange energy permeating the situation and atmospheres, as if an outside force is trying to get in.
