CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on June 24th, 2021, reviewing the new film “F9,” the ninth “Fast & Furious” film, in theaters beginning June 25th.

This is the NINTH installment of the “Fast & Furious” saga, and like the Marvel Universe they have created they own world. Again it’s Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, married to Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and trying to stay retired and raise his son. The F&F team – now a special ops unit run by enigmatic Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell) – visits Dom’s farm, and wants him to come back to retrieve a weapon systems hacking device called Aries. Dominic is reluctant at first, until it’s revealed that his brother Jakob (John Cena) is a rogue agent working with a billionaire who wants to possess Aries. So this time … in accordance with all other times … it’s personal.
