CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on December 23rd, 2021, reviewing the third film in the KINGSMEN series, an origin prequel entitled “The King’s Men,” currently in theaters.

This third film in the KINGSMEN series is surprisingly tamer in fantasy than the first two. Ralph Fiennes is Duke Orlando Oxford, who loses his wife in the Boer War of the early 20th Century. He raises his son Conrad (Harris Dickinson) on his own, but the boy laments his inability to be like his adventurous father. When World War I comes along, all that changes, and the Duke is forced into a mission that has implications for World History.
