CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on February 10th, reviewing the new release of “Death on the Nile,” another adventure of detective Hercule Poirot, in theaters on February 11th.

Kenneth Branagh directs and stars again as Hercule Poirot, the star detective adapted from Agatha Christie mystery novels. This is the third film version of this story, set on a cruise down the River Nile, involving Poirot, wealthy heiress Linnet (Gal Gadot), her newlywed husband (Armie Hammer), a son and mother (Tom Bateman and Annette Bening) and other passengers portrayed by Jennifer Saunders, Letitia Wright, Russell Brand, Emma Mackey and more. The story and World War One origins of Poirot are in included in the story, and it expands both the character and the themes.
