CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Dan Baker on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on June 2nd, reviewing “Crimes of the Future,” a return to horror sci-fi from genre director David Cronenberg. In theaters beginning June 3rd.
Viggo Mortensen is Saul, part of a performance artist team with Caprice (Léa Seydoux). In the future, feeling the pain sense has been eliminated and there are those with Accelerated Evolution Syndrome that can actually grow new organs … which Caprice removes from Saul as part of their act. This cutting has replaced sex as the ultimate feeling, and there is actually a National Organ Registry, run in part by Timlin (Kristen Stewart), to monitor new developments. The performance duo looks to their ultimate show … the autopsy of newly evolved-but-deceased eight year old boy.
