CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Ben Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on November 10th, 2022, reviewing “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” the latest chapter in the Black Panther superhero saga, in theaters beginning November 11th.

After the death of King T’Challa/Black Panther, the story focuses on the other citizens in the mythical African kingdom of Wakanda. The plot begins with T’Challa’s funeral, with his mother Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) and sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) having to decide what to do next. That is answered when Namor (Tenoch Huerta), the Mayan Water King of Talokan, reveals himself to challenge Wakanda’s rights to the magic mineral Vibranium. This begins a conflict that needs resolution, but who will step up now that Black Panther is gone?
