CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on The Eddie Volkman Show with Hannah B on WSSR-FM (Star 96.7 Joliet, Illinois) on November 23rd, reviewing the new Disney animated film “Strange World,” in theaters beginning November 23rd.

Jaeger Clade (voice of Dennis Quaid) and his son Searcher (Jake Gyllenhaal) are explorers in the land of Avalonia, a land-locked territory surrounded by mountains, and the inhabitants have never been outside of it. When Searcher discovers a cash crop called Pando while on one of the explorations, he abandons his father and goes back to Avalonia to raise the crop and settle down. After marrying Meridian (Gabrielle Union) and having a son named Ethan (Jaboukie Young-White), a disruption in the planting season forces him back as an explorer, where all his past will be present.
