CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Dan Baker in for Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on March 3rd, 2023, reviewing “The Year Between,” the writer/director feature film debut of Alex Heller, who also is in the lead role. Available through Video-On-Demand beginning March 3rd.

Alex Heller portrays Clemence, a college drop-out who is diagnosed with bipolar disorder … the brain’s strange bounce from highest highs to crashing lows. Although such mental conditions are hard to capture in storytelling, Heller as Clemence takes us on that roller coaster, coming home to torture her parents (Steve Buscemi and J Smith-Cameron) and siblings (Emily Robinson and Wyatt Oleff) as she works through the affliction.
