CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Ben Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on June 13th, reviewing “Brats,” a new documentary about the infamous “Brat Pack” of the 1980s, directed by Pack member Andrew McCarthy. Streaming on HULU since June 13th.

Remember the “Brat Pack” from the 1980s … especially the main members Andrew McCarthy, Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Ally Sheedy, Molly Ringwald and Judd Nelson, among other adjacent members? In movies like “St. Elmo’s Fire,” “The Outsiders,” “The Breakfast Club,” and “Pretty in Pink,” among others? Well, Andrew McCarthy decided to make a documentary on how that “grouping” affected them, what resentments they hold onto, and how they think about it today.
