CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on August 15th, reviewing the new film “Alien: Romulus,” the latest in the franchise story-set between the first and second film. In theaters beginning August 16th.

Rain (Cailee Spaeny) is an orphaned teen who is accompanied by her android “brother” Andy (David Jonsson). After learning she would be forced to work in the mines, she plots her escape with a crew including her ex-boyfriend Tyler (Archie Renaux), his sister Kay (Isabela Merced) and hot headed cousin Bjorn (Spike Fearn). They hijack a space cruiser and head toward a dead space station named Romulus. What they find there is a familiar alien with a familiar face-attaching technique.
