CHICAGO – A new trailer for one of this summer’s most anticipated blockbusters has released this morning, giving fans a new look at the reboot of one of the most successful film series ever. “The Amazing Spider-Man,” the new origin film of the famous comic book superhero, has an all new, two-and-a-half minute trailer giving looks at spidey in action, Peter and Gwen Stacy romance, and one angry lizard.

Directed by Marc Webb and starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field (amongst many others), “The Amazing Spider-Man” will be swinging into theaters this coming July 3, a Tuesday, just in time for the celebration of our nation’s birthday. With an optimal release date such as July 3, “The Amazing Spider-Man” will battle for the highest summer box office with another hero when “The Dark Knight Rises” is released two-and-a-half weeks later on July 20. And don’t look now kiddies, but Spidey has another edge on Bats as the reboot will be in 3D, while “Rises” will only be in standard 2D.

The Amazing Spider-Man

it’s a different story, it’s not a sequel, it’s a reboot. And it starts from where Peter was in high school. This movie takes place during Spidey’s highschool years.Peter doesn’t meet Harry till college, though they will probably introduce him in the sequel anyway.
