CHICAGO – One of Chicago’s most popular pop culture gatherings is the Wizard World Comic Con, and the 2016 edition is building anticipation for the weekend of August 18th through the 21st. Besides the fan costumes, vendor booths and comic book legends, Wizard World has appearances from TV and movie celebrities, highlighted by Michael J. Fox (“Back to the Future”), David Duchovny (“The X-Files”) and Princess Leia herself, the one and only Carrie Fisher.
To gear up for this year’s Wizard World Comic Con, HollywoodChicago.com is publishing – for the first time – a series of Exclusive Portraits from last year’s Wizard World Comic Con. Photographer Joe Arce was there, and shot 22 Exclusive Portraits of the type of TV and movie celebrities that Wizard World can offer at the event.
The Wizard World Comic Con is a yearly event in Chicago, but also has upcoming 2016 events in Austin, Texas (September 23-24-25), Tulsa, Oklahoma (October 21-11-23) and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (November 4-5-6). Click here for details regarding all things at the 2016 Wizard World Comic Con Chicago and beyond, including a listings of celebrity autograph/photo opportunities, comic creators and the huge vendor market.
