Geja’s Café, 340 W. Armitage, will celebrate our day of independence those who serve by offering current and retired military personnel complimentary Premier Dinners when they present their military identification on July 4th. Additionally, the restaurant will be offering special deals to all patrons, including $17.76 off each Premier Dinner, as well as a selection of fifty wines priced at $20.11 per bottle. The restaurant will be open 4:30-9:00p.m. on July 4th. For reservations, call 773-281-9101.

Geja’s Managing Partner Jeff Lawler said, “Geja’s would like to honor the heroes who serve our country -past or present.”

Geja’s Premier Dinners feature four courses. For the first portion of the meal, your mouth will water just looking at the creamy Swiss Gruyere cheese fondue, into which you can dip fresh breads and fruits. An open flame ensures that your fondue stays toasty so you can take your time savoring the flavor and also enjoy a crisp green salad with tangy Dijon vinaigrette dressing. For the next course, you’ll have the choice of cooking lobster tail, jumbo shrimp, beef tenderloin, sea scallops or chicken breast in either broth or vegetable oil. Delicious dessert consists of smooth Belgian chocolate fondue with fruit, marshmallows, and pound cake. A candlelit room filled with Spanish and classical guitar music completes the dining experience.

Hours for Geja’s Café are Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Friday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Valet parking is available.
