Here is the plot description for “The Adjustment Bureau”:
Do we control our destiny or do unseen forces manipulate us? Matt Damon stars in the thriller “The Adjustment Bureau” as a man who glimpses the future fate has planned for him and realizes he wants something else. To get it, he must pursue the only woman he’s ever loved across, under and through the streets of modern-day New York.
On the brink of winning a seat in the U.S. Senate, ambitious politician David Norris (Damon) meets beautiful contemporary ballet dancer Elise Sellas (Emily Blunt). She’s a woman like none he’s ever known. But just as he realizes he’s falling for her, mysterious men conspire to keep the two apart.
David learns he is up against the agents of fate itself – the men of The Adjustment Bureau – who will do everything in their considerable power to prevent David and Elise from being together. In the face of overwhelming odds, he must either let her go and accept a predetermined path or risk everything to defy fate and be with her.
“The Adjustment Bureau” is written for the screen and directed by George Nolfi (writer of “Ocean’s Twelve” and co-writer of “The Bourne Ultimatum”). It is based on a short story by Philip K. Dick (“Total Recall,” “Minority Report” and “Blade Runner”).

We do control our own fate
We do control our own fate by choosing whatever we want to do!
fate
I don’t think we have much choice with respect to Fate.
maybe
I think we like to think that we do control our own Fate. But the phrase, “Things happen for a reason” and coincidences makes me think that maybe, there is some force out there being the puppetmaster
FATE
Yes, I believe we can control our own fate and destiny!! We choose the path and life we want to live. We all make our own choices, however sometimes life throws you a curve ball and things do not always go as planned!! There are always circumstances that come up which our beyond our control. Each of those circumstances teach you things and you can take them as lessons learned.
Like a twilight zone
Like a twilight zone episode, but i still wanna see it
Absolutely Not
The very definition of “fate” states that we have no control over it whatsoever.
-noun
1. something that unavoidably befalls a person; fortune; lot: It is always his fate to be left behind.
2. the universal principle or ultimate agency by which the order of things is presumably prescribed; the decreed cause of events; time: Fate decreed that they would never meet again.
3. that which is inevitably predetermined; destiny: Death is our ineluctable fate.
4. a prophetic declaration of what must be: The oracle pronounced their fate.
5. death, destruction, or ruin.
Fate?
I don’t know, ask the muses.
yes we control our FATE and
yes we control our FATE and if anything goes wrong there is no one to blame but ourself
Do we control our own fate?
I believe we do control our own fate. We cannot control the outcome of our “end” but we can control to a degree the events leading up to that. Our life is our own to do with what we wish.
fate
We absolutely have control of our own fate. Every decision we make, every day, has somewhat of an impact on our future.
