No….. I think society
No….. I think society needs us to be monogamous and financial/emotional responsibility for children necessitates monogamy…. it gets really confusing to have siblings that are close in age with only one shared parent. But if we could really control the Baby Mama drama and tons of kids born to single moms we wouldn’t need to be totally exclusive.

monogamy
I think we work well with serial monogamy, but true monogamy isn’t how we evolved. We are very much pack animals meant to live in small social groups. Religion and social conventions evolved to make monogamy the norm, but it isn’t our natural state.
Do you believe humans are meant to be monogamous?
No, this is a sweet lie that we try to live but in the end not possible
