“The Thieves” is a high octane action/heist movie, involving a gang that is going for their ultimate last robbery – a $20 million dollar diamond called “Tear of the Sun” – and experiencing many unexpected consequences. Directed by Dong-Hoon Choi, and featuring locations in South Korea (Seoul, Busan) and China (Hong Kong, Macau), “The Thieves” is as exciting and unpredictable as the best in the action film genre.
Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com will introduce the film and will lead a discussion after the 6:30pm showing on June 24 (doors open at 5:45pm). The historic Chicago Cultural Center is located at 76 E. Washington.
