Cassie (Carey Mulligan) is a somewhat imbalanced woman who gets her kicks pretending to be blind drunk at bars to experience how men will react to her … they inevitably try to put moves on her, she rebuffs them and records it all in a diary. She’s doing this because her best friend in medical school was raped and she seems to be on a one woman crusade for vengeance. She’s asked on a date by Ryan (Bo Burnham), an ex-classmate from the same med school, and she actually starts to like him. But her revenge plan isn’t over, and the culmination of these events are yet to come.
