Set in the era of the Old West, Lucky Prescott (voice of Isabela Merced) is a girl who was sent away by her father to live with her rich grandpa after her rodeo performing mother dies. When her father Jim (Jake Gyllenhaal) wants to see her when she turns 13 years old, her Aunt Cora (Julianne Moore) escorts her back to the untamed west, where she meets a wild horse of her dreams, which she names Spirit. When a band of marauders want to separate her from her new equine friend, it’s confrontation time.

“Spirit Untamed” opens in theaters June 4th. Featuring the voices of Isabela Merced, Jake Gyllenaal, Julianne Moore, Mckenna Grace and Andre Braugher. Written by Amy Wallington and Kristin Hahn. Directed by Elaine Bogan and Ennio Torresan. Rated “PG
