CHICAGO – There was a double celebration at The Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove (Illinois) on July 26th, 2021. First, the cast and director of “The Class” – now in production in Chicagoland – gathered to support their co-star. That co-star was the focus of “A Night with Anthony Michael Hall.” The actor was being honored as he introduced a screening of “The Breakfast Club,” one of his seminal films.

“The Class,” written and directed by Nick Celozzi, has Anthony Michael Hall going back to movieland high school… but this time he is portraying the assistant principal. His co-star is former teen idol singer Debbie Gibson, and the young high schoolers cast include Charlie Gillespie (Netflix’s “Julie and the Phantoms”), Juliette Celozzi, Lyric Ross, Hannah Kepple, Colin McCalla and Michael Sebastian. The production will wrap August 8th.

The cast was photographed by Joe Arce of HollywoodChicago.com at the event. Click “Next” and “Previous” to scan through the slideshow or jump directly to individual photos with the captioned links below. All photos © Joe Arce of Starstruck Foto for HollywoodChicago.com.
