HollywoodChicago.com Oscarman rating: 3.5/5.0
Rating: 3.5/5.0

Joe List is Jeff, a jazz pianist and recovering alcoholic who is constantly haranguing his therapist (Louis C.K.) about his parents. When he gets the annual invite to the summer cabin of Mom (Paula Plum) and Dad (Robert Walsh), he decides to attend without his wife Beth (Sarah Tollemache), in order to finally confront his parents about their lack of open affection towards him. Can he do it in front of his loud Bostonian relatives? Wicked ya pisser.

”Fourth of July” is in select theaters beginning July 1st, see local listings. Featuring Joe List, Louis C.K., Paula Plum, Robert Walsh and Sarah Tollemache. Written by Louis C.K. and Joe List. Directed by Louis C.K. Not Rated.
