Slideshow: Exclusive Portraits of ‘Clerks III’ Cast & Trailer in Preview of Fall 2022 Release
CHICAGO – “They’re Bringing it Back!” Is the inevitable tagline for “Clerks III,” the highly anticipated final (?) chapter of Kevin Smith’s Clerks universe of films. The main classic cast appeared at Fan Expo Chicago last weekend, and photographer Joe Arce of HollywoodChicago.com captured the Exclusive Portraits. “Clerks III” is set to release on September 13th, 2022. !—break—>
The “Clerks” saga began in 1994, when a comic book/movie mad indie filmmaker named Kevin Smith made a black and white film for $27K, with friends in his native New Jersey. The characters became icons as the film’s cult status grew, and cast member Jason Mewes and Smith expanded their characters Jay and Silent Bob into the filmmaker’s “View Askew” universe with “Mallrats,” “Chasing Amy,” “Dogma,” various Jay & Silent Bob adventures and of course, “Clerks 2.” The third Clerks came together when Jeff Anderson (Randal) came back into the fold.
