Film News: Asian Pop-Up Cinema In-Person Event for Hong Kong Film ‘Deliverance,’ Oct. 29, 2022

CHICAGO – Season 15 of the Asian Pop-Up Cinema (APUC) is wrapping up its Fall Edition with Hong Kong Week, beginning with an exciting in-person event on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 (5pm). The well-received “Deliverance” will be screened at the AMC New City Theatre in the city, featuring actress Summer Chan, who will also be at the theater in person to receive APUC’s BRIGHT STAR AWARD.

Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com will moderate the Q&A after the 10/29 5pm screening of “Deliverance,” which will feature Summer Chan, along with appearances by director Kelvin Shum, his brother screenwriter Kyle Shum and Producer Charlie Wang.
