Film News: Asian Pop-Up Cinema In-Person Event for Hong Kong Film ‘Deliverance,’ Oct. 29, 2022

CHICAGO – Season 15 of the Asian Pop-Up Cinema (APUC) is wrapping up its Fall Edition with Hong Kong Week, beginning with an exciting in-person event on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 (5pm). The well-received “Deliverance” will be screened at the AMC New City Theatre in the city, featuring actress Summer Chan, who will also be at the theater in person to receive APUC’s BRIGHT STAR AWARD.

CHICAGO – Out of the gate for Fall film fest time is the milestone 15th Season of the Asian Pop-Up Cinema (APUC). This season is taking “the show on the road” with screenings around Chicagoland and their diverse communities. Film News: Asian Pop-Up Cinema Season 14 Begins March 13, 2022

CHICAGO – The 2022 local film festival scene is picking up steam as the Spring Season 14 of Chicago’s Asian Pop-Up Cinema (APUC) kicks off on March 13th at AMC Niles (Illinois). The South Korean film “Heaven: To the Land of Happiness” has its Midwest Premiere, beginning nearly a month of APUC through April 10th.
