After leaving “Baywatch” as the highest paid TV actress of that era, and in the midst of her first marriage to Tommy Lee, she filmed the action exploitation film “Barb Wire” in 1996 and continued in her post-Baywatch career appearing in film, television, “Baywatch” reunion specials, “Dancing with the Stars,” modeling assignments, theater (a run in “Chicago” on Broadway) and as author … which includes two novels, two works of non-fiction and three memoirs, including the latest.

Her personal life has been the fodder of the tabloids almost since she began her career. This came to loggerheads after she and husband Tommy Lee created a sex tape on their honeymoon, which was stolen and illegally distributed on DVD and the early internet. After divorcing Tommy Lee in 1998 (after having two children with him), Anderson has been married five more times, including Kid Rock in 2006 (divorced 2007) and two separate times to Rick Salomon. Infamous hairdresser/producer Jon Peters joined the parade in 2020, but the marriage was annulled the same year. Anderson said the license was never filed and they were never legally married. After one more try and another divorce, she is currently single.
