CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on June 15th, reviewing “Elemental,” the latest animated film from Pixar Animation and Walt Disney Studios. In theaters on June 16th.

In a city where the elements of fire, water, earth, and air in the form of clouds live together, a fire woman named Ember (voice of Leah Lewis) and a water guy named Wade (Mamoudou Athie) meet cute when the shop of Ember’s father Bernie (Ronnie del Carmen), which is being inspected by Wade and his boss, city bureaucrat Gale Cumulus (Wendi McLendon-Covey). The potential couple are about to discover something elemental … how much they actually have in common.

”Elemental” opens in theaters on June 16th. Featuring the voices of Leah Lewis, Mamoudou Athie, Ronnie del Carmen, Wendy McLendon-Covey, Shila Ommie and Catherine O’Hara. Written by  John Hoberg and Kat Likkel and Brenda Hsueh. Directed by Peter Sohn. Rated “PG
