Samira (Megan Suri) is a California high school students with traditional immigrant parents from India. She is indifferent to her heritage, as she is trying to fit in with her peers. Her best friend used to Tamira (Mohana Krishnan), but she has taken to walking around high school like a Zombie, clutching a pickling jar with what she says is a evil spirit called the Pischach trapped inside. When the jar shatters in a confrontation with Samira, all hell is going to break loose.
