CHICAGO – The Glendale (CA) International Film Festival is screening a new short film on September 29th, 2023. The “Z-Twins,” Larry and Terry Ziegelman, collaborated on writing and directing “Broken Vessels” … a story of cancer, chemo and survival for a distressed woman. For info and tickets, click GLENDALE.
Jane is that woman, who is treating her cancer at a chemo center. Her “chemo mate” is an odd-but-optimistic cosplayer, a woman who prefers her treatment dressed as various superheroes. As Jane’s troubles multiple at her home, and the reaction from the cancer treatments start affecting her body, the cure may be worst than the illness.
