CHICAGO – The popularity of symphonic orchestras providing live soundtracks to classic films is about to get the series treatment in the Windy City. The Chicago Philharmonic and the Auditorium Theatre presents the Auditorium Philms Concert Series, taking place at the Auditorium Theatre. The first film in the series will be “Blade Runner” on Saturday, February 17th, 2024. Click BLADE RUNNER for ticket info and details.

For 2024, the upcoming films in the series will “Batman 1989” on April 13th, “Black Panther” on June 22nd, “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” on October 26th and “Love Actually” on December 7th. Click link below for more details.

The Chicago Philharmonic was established in 1988 through the Lyric Opera Orchestra as a non-profit collective of classical musicians, and is the official orchestra of the Joffrey Ballet. The current Executive Director is Terell Johnson, who began his own musical journey on piano and clarinet. He has held the position since 2022.
