CHICAGO – “Guitar Hero: Metallica” was unleashed on the world on Sunday, March 29th, 2009 and while we plan our review of this rocking title, we thought we’d share with you the launch trailer that Activision unveiled on that day. “Guitar Hero: Metallica” is based on the “Guitar Hero World Tour” model and supports drums, vocals, guitar, and bass. The title includes 28 songs by Metallica and 21 songs by other artists. Other artists in the game include Motorhead, Corrosion of Conformity, Machine Head, Mastodon, Kyuss, Judas Priest, Social Distortion, Samhain, Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Queen, Thin Lizzy, System of a Down, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, Slayer, and Suicidal Tendencies.
Metallica tracks in the Neversoft-developed game include “The Unforgiven” “Wherever I May Roam,” “One,” “Nothing Else Matters,” “Sad But True,” “Master of Puppets,” “Enter Sandman,” and many, many more.
