CHICAGO – The “Scream Queen” is a venerable show business category, and there are few better practitioners of the art than Portia Chellelynn. She has been the go-to in the Midwest for low budget horror films, with eight feature film credits to her name, and three more in production. Her latest is “H.P. Lovecraft’s Witch House” – directed by Bobby Easley – currently on the festival circuit. She will also be appearing in this weekend’s Days of the Dead convention in Chicago. CHICAGO – It’s promoted as “for fans, by fans” and the Walker Stalker Con delivers the goods for those admirers of all things zombie, horror and cult based. The celebrities – including Chandler Riggs of AMC Network’s “The Walking Dead” – the exclusive talks/panels, the photo ops and the floor “walkers” themselves, will create an atmosphere of fun and dread at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., on Saturday and Sunday, May 28th and 29th, 2016.

CHICAGO – The “Day of the Dead” Horror Convention is a must-attend for the admirers of the scare genre, with appearances by fright movie favorites, autograph opportunities, special events and after show parties. The next Day of the Dead gathering is this upcoming weekend in Indianapolis, Friday through Sunday, June 26th-28th, 2015.
