CHICAGO – Get ready, Chicago! On Tuesday, August 13, rockers Green Day will electrify Wrigley Field with a monumental concert like no other. For the first time ever, the iconic American rock band – formed in Rodeo, California in 1987 by lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist/backing vocalist Mike Dirnt – will perform both the “Dookie” (1994) and “American Idiot” (2004) albums in their entirety, celebrating both works on their milestone anniversaries in 2024.
