Film Review: ‘Fed Up’ is a Cautionary Story for All of Us
Submitted by PatrickMcD on May 23, 2014 - 9:51amCHICAGO – Here’s the deal, America. We’ve got some powerful mega-corporations who manufacture food to make a profit. What makes us buy food? Taste. Blu-Ray Review: ‘It’s Kind of a Funny Story’ is Kind of a Good Movie
Submitted by BrianTT on February 16, 2011 - 6:49pmCHICAGO – I’m conflicted about Ryan Fleck & Anna Boden’s “It’s Kind of a Funny Story,” a good movie that I think a lot of people wanted to be great. Blu-Ray Review: Fantastic ‘Sugar’ Deserves Wide Home Audience
Submitted by BrianTT on September 8, 2009 - 10:40amCHICAGO – As the baseball season winds to a close, take some time to catch up with one of the best dramas of the year and one of the best movies made about the changing face of the sport in Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden’s fantastic “Sugar”. This is a film that gets better with each viewing and as it lingers in the memory. Now on Blu-Ray and DVD, don’t miss “Sugar”.
