CHICAGO – This weekend is the Turner Classic Movies (TCM) Classic Film Festival, and few movie stars alive represent that classic status better than Miss Mitzi Gaynor. Whether co-starring in movies with Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe, or starring in the film version of “South Pacific,” Mitzi Gaynor always inspires the old “razzle dazzle.”

CHICAGO – Turner Classic Movies, the popular cable channel, will kick off their third annual TCM Classic Film Festival next week, from April 12th-15th. Recently, the festival preview came to Chicago, as TCM host Ben Mankiewicz and movie star Tippi Hedren introduced Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds.”

CHICAGO – Turner Classic Movies, the film buff’s 24-hour movie channel, was in Chicago on March 24th to promote the TCM Classic Film Festival, in Hollywood from April 28th to May 1st. As part of that promotion, Jane Powell of “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” (1954), introduced that film at the Music Box Theater here.
