Rating: 5.0/5.0 |
CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com audio film review on The Beatles “Get Back” Part Three, part of a three-part documentary series directed by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings series) and premiering on the Disney+ streaming service on November 27th, 2021.
PART THREE of “Get Back” can be characterized as DELIVERANCE. When Part Two concluded, the decision to have the live performance – the impetus for the entire “Get Back” project – is now on the rooftop of the London EMI studios. The addition of session keyboardist Billy Preston has revived the songs being recorded, but the real test will come on that rooftop, with “Don’t Let Me Down,” “I’ve Got a Feeling,” “One After 909,” “Dig a Pony” and “Get Back” performed over West Central London.
