CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on June 20th, reviewing “The Bikeriders,” a new motorcycle gang film directed by Jeff Nichols (“Mud”). In theaters on June 21st.

The film has a stellar cast, with great biker names. Benny (Austin Butler), Johnny (Tom Hardy), Zipco (Michael Shannon, natch), Funny Sunny (Noman Reedus), Cockroach (Emory Cohen) and love interest Kathy (Jodie Comer). Set in the 1960s, it follows the rise of the Vandals MC, a Chicago outlaw motorcycle club. Their adventures are seen through the lives of its members and their families, and the club evolves over the course of a decade from a surrogate family for local outcasts into a violent organized crime syndicate.
