Working Man is an indie film set in the industrial suburbs of Chicago (but unnamed in the film). Peter Gerety is the title character, a quiet schlub who is mourning the loss of his only son due to suicide, and at the same time gets laid off from his factory job. Features Talia Shire (“Rocky” series) as his wife, and Billy Brown as his co-worker, who motivates him in a different way. 3.5/5 stars.
