On October 14th at 7pm Kartemquin will host ROCK THE DOC! at Angels and Kings in Chicago.

…We’re inviting documentary fans across Chicago to join Kartemquin filmmakers and staff for our fall benefit party, featuring:

* DJ set by Pretty Good Dance Moves
* Exclusive sneak preview of an upcoming Kartemquin film.
* Drink Specials
* Kartemquin Filmmakers bartending!
* VJ mix from the KTQ Archives.
* Lots more surprises!

No need to RSVP - just show up and rock the doc with us!

Plus, emerging (and emerged!) filmmakers will have the chance to enter our Doc Demo Raffle. This is your chance to have your work reviewed by the studio behind films such as Hoop Dreams, Stevie, Milking the Rhino, Typeface, Terra Incognita and No Crossover: The Trial of Allen Iverson. Just bring a DVD of your documentary work in progress or completed short to our benefit at Angels and Kings and enter it into our $10 Doc Demo Raffle.

The lucky winners get a consultation meeting with Kartemquin Producers, a screening at Kartemquin as part of their KTQ Labs: Feedback Screening program, and a link on our website, Facebook page and YouTube channel to your film!
