Exclusive Portrait: ‘Glee’ Star Jane Lynch Pushes New Book ‘Happy Accidents’
CHICAGO – It’s no accident that Jane Lynch is one of hottest performers of the moment, despite the title of her new book, “Happy Accidents.” The talented and hilarious Ms. Lynch memorably portrays Sue Sylvester on the popular FOX show, “Glee,” and had time to host the Emmys this year.
Jane Lynch was born in the Chicago suburb of Dolton, Illinois, and started her show business career in the Windy City, including stints at the Steppenwolf Theater Company and the Annoyance Theater. After several characters parts in film and television, she broke out with director Christopher Guest in “Best in Show” (2000), followed by “A Mighty Wind” (2003) and “For Your Consideration” (2006). Her appearances in Judd Apatow’s “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and TV’s “Two and a Half Men” led to the character Sue Sylvester in “Glee” (2009). She released her book “Happy Accidents” this year.
