Simple Romance
There’s a little grassy area near the lake behind Buckingham Fountain that gives a perfect view for the Navy Pier fireworks during the summer. Even when the fireworks aren’t going, it’s a simple grassy area perfect for a picnic or to lie down and look up at the sky. You won’t see stars, but the sky isn’t blocked by lots of buildings and trees and it’s perfectly romantic.
