CHICAGO – Larkin Poe is an acclaimed roots rock sister duo – fronted by Rebecca and Megan Lovell – and are originally from Georgia and now hail from Nashville, with two highly successful albums under their belt … “Venom & Faith” and “Self Made Man,” and their latest, “Blood Harmony.” Photographer Jeff “Doc” Doles of HollywoodChicago.com was at Chicago’s Thalia Hall on March 16th, 2023, and captured the following images.

Larkin Poe’s “Blood Harmony” is a heartfelt tribute to the rich musical heritage of the American South, blending elements of Southern rock and roll with soulful blues. The sister duo fronts a seasoned band with 12 years of experience creating music, and delivers an unparalleled performance that fires on all cylinders. As natives of Georgia, Larkin Poe has always been deeply influenced by the region’s musical traditions. Drawing on their own personal experiences and upbringing, the duo has crafted an album that pays homage to the unique culture and history of their roots in the South.

The latest album also showcases the duo’s exceptional musicianship and songwriting skills, with their signature blend of raw, powerful vocals and electrifying guitar work.
