Film Review: Football Ladies are Super Bowled in ’80 for Brady’

CHICAGO – “80 for Brady” has an all star lineup, but when it comes to scoring any genuine laughs it has a serious case of fumble-itis. It’s fun to see these talented women together on the screen but there’s not much there. It’s four old friends going to the Super Bowl, and that’s about it.

CHICAGO – Robert Marvin “Bobby” Hull needs no introduction in the City of Chicago, as his career as a Chicago Blackhawks hockey player was as legendary and influential as Babe Ruth was to baseball. The “Golden Jet,” which was his nickname, and the Jet recently passed away at age 84 on January 30th, 2023.

The “Shirley” of the title duo was portrayed by Cindy Williams, who in her early film career was even more legendary. Williams passed away on January 25th, 2023, She was 75 years old.

PARK CITY, UTAH – The 2023 Sundance Film Festival announced their Grand Jury Prizes on January 27th, and the top films were “A Thousand and One” (U.S. Dramatic), “Going to Mars: The Nikki Giovanni Project” (U.S. Documentary), ‘Scrapper’ (World Cinema Dramatic) and “The Eternal Memory” (World Cinema Documentary).
