America's Next Top Model

TV News: The CW Announces Three New Shows, New Nights For ‘Top Model,’ ‘Supernatural’

CHICAGO – There have been a number of surprising announcements of new nights for hit shows this week (“Two and a Half Men,” “Glee,” “Revenge,” “Community”) and The CW closed out the trend this morning by announcing their Fall schedule and revealing that “America’s Next Top Model” and “Supernatural” will swap evenings.

TV Review: The CW Redefines Wasting Time With Awful ‘Remodeled’

Remodeled (fixed)

CHICAGO – Who cares? Seriously, we have reached the bottom of the reality TV barrel with The CW’s “Remodeled,” a show that takes people who weren’t meant for TV, pumps up their more extreme behavior, and calls it television. We’ve all seen people with questionable degrees of talent who reach for the reality TV grail with dozens of basic cable programs but rarely has this degree of silliness made it to the broadcast networks.

TV News: The CW Announces Fall Schedule, Details on New Shows

CHICAGO – The CW announces a relatively aggressive Fall 2011 schedule with details on four new shows, one every night for the majority of the work week. With stars like Sarah Michelle Gellar, Rachel Bilson, and Mario Lopez making their way to the struggling network, perhaps this is the year that The CW turns it around.

TV News: The CW Cancels ‘Hellcats,’ Renews ‘Nikita,’ ‘One Tree Hill’

Nikita

CHICAGO – Well, it’s official. We batted 1.000 on NBC and The CW (and missed no more than one on any network and three overall), as the latter has announced in advance of their full schedule presentation on Thursday that they will bring “Nikita” and “One Tree Hill” back for another season but that “Hellcats” is officially done.

TV Review: ‘America’s Next Top Model’ Has Run Out of New Ideas

CHICAGO – Fourteen cycles into “America’s Next Top Model,” it is now clear that this sometimes-engaging program has lost all hope of rekindling what once made it entertaining. Perhaps realizing that they haven’t cast that many interesting models in the last few years, the producers have turned to torture, trying to make them intriguing by abusing them. It’s not that clever a plan.
