Film News: Reeling 31, Chicago’s LGBT International Film Festival, Opens With ‘G.B.F.’

CHICAGO – The second oldest LGBT Film Festival is right here is Chicago, loud and proud, as “Reeling 31” has its opening night on November 7th at Chicago’s Music Box Theatre. And what better film to open the festivities than “G.B.F.” – which of course stands for “Gay Best Friend” – directed by Darren Stein (“Jawbreaker”) and featuring Megan Mullally, Horatio Sanz and Natasha Lyonne.

CHICAGO – Several guests and performances that will appear at the 4th Annual Chicago Movies & Music Festival in April were officially announced today. The festival, which celebrates music in movies in features, documentaries, shorts, concert films, animation, and music videos, will take place from Thursday, April 12 to Sunday, April 15.
