CHICAGO – The outsider point of view will highlight the Midwest Film Festival at their First Tuesday “Alternative Takes,” beginning at 7pm on May 3rd at the Gene Siskel Film Center. Nine short films with with distinct atmospheres and unique points of view will screen, featuring a range of dark humor, heartfelt expressions and a mix of experiences for the senses. CHICAGO – The made-in-Chicago film “Relative” … written and directed by Michael Glover Smith … will get its city/Midwest premiere at (appropriately) the Midwest Film Festival on April 5th, 2022.
