If you founded a country and act as the sole leader and only form of government running all aspects of the state, is that a totalitarianism or a dictatorship?

I'd say that's totalitarianism

I’d say that’s totalitarianism based on the third definition of the word below:

to·tal·i·tar·i·an·ism:
1. the practices and principles of a totalitarian regime.
2. absolute control by the state or a governing branch of a highly centralized institution.
3. the character or quality of an autocratic or authoritarian individual, group, or government: the totalitarianism of the father.

dic·ta·tor·ship
1. a country, government, or the form of government in which absolute power is exercised by a dictator.
2. absolute, imperious, or overbearing power or control.
3. the office or position held by a dictator.

I disagree. Totalitarianism tends to be more about the obtrusiveness and control has the state has over its citizens. Dictatorship gives an individual control of government, usually with totalitarian lapses.

Listen, strange women lyin’ in ponds distributin’ swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.”
