Here is the plot description for “It’s Kind of a Funny Story”:
“It’s Kind of a Funny Story” looks to be the next hit from Focus Features. In this New York City-set comedy/drama, 16-year-old Craig (Keir Gilchrist of “United States of Tara”) is stressed out from the demands of being a teenager. He checks himself into a mental health clinic. There he learns that the youth ward is closed and finds himself stuck in the adult ward.
One of the patients, Bobby (Zach Galifianakis), soon becomes both Craig’s mentor and protege. Craig is also drawn to a 16-year-old girl named Noelle (Emma Roberts of “Valentine’s Day”). With a minimum five days’ stay imposed on him, Craig is sustained by friendships on both the inside and the outside as he learns more about life, love and the pressures of growing up.

therapy
I’ve known some shrinks that were so bad in their own lives so it depends—-I’m not sure how much good a good one can do but I’ve seen what bad ones have done
Yes
Everyone needs to have someone to talk to who is bias and wont judge them.
See a therapist!
Yes-essential part of self-care for all!
Everyone should see a therapist
I feel that everyone should see a therapist sometime in their lives. Everyone could use some help in their stressful lives and talking with siomeone about their problems and help them cope better. I don’t think anyone is strong enough to be able to handle all their problems all the time.
Nope
I don’t think everyone should need to see a therapist sometime in their lives. Some people are normal and they don’t have problems or feeling stress. I’m a naturally happy person, it would be a waste of time and money if I went to a therapist. The format of Therapy for me would just not work and would not be helpful.
Should everyone see a therapist?
I don’t think everyone SHOULD go out and see a therapist but it would be helpful. I believe that everyone struggles with at least some depression and someone to talk to always helps; probably even more especially if they are a professional.
Therapy?
I think therapy can work for some people. If you think you need it - go!
it's kind of a funny story
Most people can benefit from therapy however, less than 10% of population sees someone
sHOULD PEOPLE SEE A THERAPIST SOMETIME IN THEIR LIFE?
Yes, There is no “normal.” everyone has issues that can be improved upon.
Yes
I believe it’s healthy to have a professional listen to you whether you feel you need it or not.
