“It’s Kind of a Funny Story” looks to be the next hit from Focus Features. In this New York City-set comedy/drama, 16-year-old Craig (Keir Gilchrist of “United States of Tara”) is stressed out from the demands of being a teenager. He checks himself into a mental health clinic. There he learns that the youth ward is closed and finds himself stuck in the adult ward.
One of the patients, Bobby (Zach Galifianakis), soon becomes both Craig’s mentor and protege. Craig is also drawn to a 16-year-old girl named Noelle (Emma Roberts of “Valentine’s Day”). Seeing a Therapist
Yes, I believe at some point either your teens or young adult, everyone should sit with a therapist (not a psychiatrist) to sort out their lives. Maybe take a few tests like ADD and Myer Briggs to determine what they want in life.
[When is the RED showing? If its Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday this week, I cannot go.]
Absolutely. I think everyone
Absolutely. I think everyone can benefit from therapy. I also think people shouldn’t be embarrassed to be in therapy. If people need help why hide it?
NO WAY!!
Therapists are for people who are completely non-self aware. If you can’t look within yourself to fix your problems then you should feel free to waste your money on a therapist.
No, I can’t afford it.
No, I can’t afford it.
Therapist
If you feel you need one then see one if not, no need
Therapy
Nothing bad can come out of talking with someone. Getting things off your chest can only make you feel better.
Yes
I think people should talk to someone at least once in their life. It helps to get things off of your chest.
Therapy?
It’s not essential for everybody, so no. But for those who would benefit, they obviously should talk to a therapist.
Not For Everyone
When everyone on the same road, at the same time, there’s going to be a accident at the exits.
no!
The whole thing is a quack. Even the therapist doesnt want to listen to problems because they’ve got problems of their own
