Here is the plot description for “It’s Kind of a Funny Story”:

“It’s Kind of a Funny Story” looks to be the next hit from Focus Features. In this New York City-set comedy/drama, 16-year-old Craig (Keir Gilchrist of “United States of Tara”) is stressed out from the demands of being a teenager. He checks himself into a mental health clinic. There he learns that the youth ward is closed and finds himself stuck in the adult ward.

One of the patients, Bobby (Zach Galifianakis), soon becomes both Craig’s mentor and protege. Craig is also drawn to a 16-year-old girl named Noelle (Emma Roberts of “Valentine’s Day”). With a minimum five days’ stay imposed on him, Craig is sustained by friendships on both the inside and the outside as he learns more about life, love and the pressures of growing up.

Should everyone see a therapist/

Everyone who needs to seea therapist should see one. Some people do not need to see one. Others do, especially at certain stressful times in their lives. It all depends on the individual.

Should someone see a therapist at some point in their life?

Not necessarily but they should treat it like any other doctor. If you know you are depressed, you should definitely go.

Maybe not everyone ...

… But definitely more people than go now. There’s no stigma anymore and a lot of people can get a lot of assistance from that.

If they need to. Therapy can

Yes I do. And the fact that

Yes I do. And the fact that I’m currently studying to be one has something to do with it. But really, therapy can be beneficial to anyone.
